DALLAS REGIONAL CHAMBER'S STATE OF THE STATE LUNCHEON
At the State of the State Luncheon, we discussed the successes of the 86th Legislative Session, including transformative property tax relief, school finance reform, and the significant economic growth achieved throughout the Dallas region.
Over the past year, Texas added almost 300,000 new jobs. About 100,000 of those were added in the DFW area. Texas enjoys a record low unemployment rate of 3.4% The DFW area is even lower at 3.1% |
POLITICAL GRASSROOTS ARE GROWING Lockhart Roundtable: At our grassroots roundtable in Lockhart, Texas, we met with leaders from Caldwell County to discuss their efforts in the upcoming election.
State Republican Executive Committee (SREC)/ Grassroots Receptions: Last weekend we hosted grassroots, SREC, and Texas Federation of Republican Women members to celebrate their hard work around the state of Texas. We need to keep the momentum going to keep Texas RED in 2020. |
