Today we are exactly 60 days out from election day, and early voting starts next month!
The clock is ticking for us to reach the voters we need to win in time, and a lot of those voters are spread out in rural communities.
A little over half of Idahoans live in just FIVE of our 44 counties. For us to win, we’ve got to reach into the other 39 counties as well.
I believe EVERY community deserves to be represented and to hear from their candidates. The most cost effective way for me to reach rural voters is by mail. So we are ramping up our direct mail program, and that’s where I need your help.
It costs about $1.50 to design, print, and mail one campaign mailer direct to the home of a rural voter. Will you sponsor a rural voter today?

August was our best fundraising month yet. Thanks to all of you who pitched in, we were able to run an order of new palm cards and yard signs. In fact I’ll be shipping the palm cards out to my volunteers across the state this weekend!
The palm cards are important. They really help our canvassing teams when they’re out knocking on doors. But in a lot of these rural communities, it just isn’t possible to knock on all the doors we need in person.
The voters in rural communities deserve to hear from ALL the candidates so they can make a fair and fully-informed decision about who is looking out for their interests.
I’m confident that, if we can reach enough rural voters, we can really shock the nation and win this election in November.
I know it because when I get the opportunity to visit communities that usually get ignored by congressional candidates, people are always eager to be heard and excited to learn about our campaign.
David Roth is a single, gay dad running to flip a U.S. Senate seat in Idaho. His opponent is an extremist “pro-life” Republican who’s been in politics for 37 years. David stepped up to serve the state that has been his home most of his life, where he is now raising his two young sons, because every state is worth fighting for. There has never been an openly gay man elected to the U.S. Senate. Help us make history this year. Pitch in now to flip this seat and send David to D.C.
