What’s your top priority right now, John?
Earlier this year, we sent around a survey asking this same question and almost all of you answered that access to affordable health care was one of the most important issues facing our communities right now. Well, John, we couldn’t agree more and we’re proud to say that Lauren is leading the fight to make quality health care more affordable for working families everywhere.
From passing her bill, the Health Care Affordability Act, to lower out-of-pocket premium costs for families by an average of $2,400 a year, to voting to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which cut prescription drug prices and capped the price of insulin for Medicare patients at $35 a month, Lauren has proven herself to be an advocate for working families in Congress.
But as we’re sure you know, there’s still so much work to be done and so many important issues are on the ballot this year — not just affordable health care, but also voting rights, climate change, reproductive rights, gun safety, and more.
With Election Day less than nine weeks away, Lauren’s busy prepping her legislative agenda for the weeks ahead, and hearing from you will help keep her priorities centered around the people.
So we want to know, John: What are some of your top priorities heading into the final weeks of this election?
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and opinions with us. Hearing from you helps Lauren keep pushing forward and making progress on issues that affect workers and families the most.
