[World Suicide Prevention Day]([link removed])

Tomorrow, September 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day. The moment serves as an important reminder that by coming together, we can save lives. It’s also part of our larger efforts throughout September to raise awareness and spread hope during National Suicide Prevention Month.

This year, as part of our Together, Let’s Walk campaign, we have been encouraging people across the country to [walk together]([link removed]) toward a world without suicide by participating in our Out of the Darkness Walks.

The Out of the Darkness Walks are a growing movement of people who walk for a loved one lost, people who walk in support of someone struggling, people who walk for themselves and people who walk to connect with a community who understands. By participating, Walkers raise funds that go directly to suicide prevention education, support, advocacy and research.

We hope you can join us for a Walk, and help spread the word about our upcoming National Suicide Prevention Month events, including:

- Sept. 14th at 2 p.m. ET
Supporting 988 Post-Launch Through Federal & State Advocacy on Facebook Live & YouTube Live
- Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. ET
Together Let’s Walk: An Out of the Darkness Panel Conversation on Facebook Live & YouTube Live
- Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. ET
Ask Dr. Jill in partnership with The Mighty

You can find our full calendar of events at our September web page, where you will also find social sharables, blog stories and interviews, how to find a Walk near you, and much more.

Together we can send the hopeful message that help is available and suicide can be prevented.
