The situation in Pakistan is worsening — and UNICEF needs your help to support children.
Make a gift today to send lifesaving therapeutic food treatments, safe water, shelter, hygiene kits and essential medical supplies to children at risk.
At least 33 million people, including 16 million children, have been affected by ongoing torrential monsoon rains and floods. Unprecedented rainfall has swept away homes, health centers and schools — devastating families and leaving them out in the open without access to basic necessities. Without more help, they will be exposed to further devastation, hunger and outbreaks of waterborne diseases like diarrhea and cholera. |
So far, UNICEF teams have delivered nutrition support to thousands of malnourished children, supplied safe drinking water for more than 55,000 people and ensured that over 4,000 children receive vaccines to prevent deadly diseases.
Still, with children making up at least a third of the fatalities, it’s critical that help reaches the children most affected by this crisis. Send support now to ensure that UNICEF’s efforts continue to help children >>
