Extreme white nationalists and right-wing extremists are causing this massive teacher shortage, taking over school boards and harassing LGBTQ and teachers of color until they quit.
Far right fringe groups, funded by millions in dark money, are working to dismantle public schools and targeting teachers. They fearmonger and decry teachings of diversity, equity, and inclusion, claiming these basic and decent concepts are indoctrinating students.
