This morning, Elissa joined Morning Joe to talk about the initiative officially on Michigan’s ballot to codify the Roe standard into law, as well as guarantee Michigan women the right to access contraception, the right to receive fertility treatment, and the right to determine their own pre- and post-partum care.

This ballot initiative received over 730,000 signatures, and has galvanized Michiganders, both pro-life and pro-choice, who believe this is fundamentally an issue of personal freedom. Elissa explains what she’s hearing on the ground, and what this could mean for turnout in November. Check it out:
