I have treated thousands of patients in the Emergency Department. One patient whom I will never forget is a woman I treated after a back alley abortion. She was in such dire condition that she almost died.
That should never happen in America.
I'm sharing that story with you here–and in the TV ad we'll be airing starting this week–because we need to understand the consequences of making abortion care inaccessible to patients in our community. When we unnecessarily restrict and outlaw abortion care, we put lives at risk.
That's why we need a physician's perspective in the State House. There are no physicians serving in our state legislature. But with Roe v Wade overturned, it's more critical than ever that we send a doctor to represent District 30 in Harrisburg.
