By now, I’m sure you’ve heard from my team about our first ad we’re running on TV. (If you haven’t, you can check it out here!)
This is a big moment for our campaign. We are in a neck-and-neck race – in our last poll, there was only one point separating me and my opponent – so it’s critical that we talk to as many folks as possible. This ad will allow me to spread my message about fighting for our common good to every corner of western Pennsylvania.
This ad tells the story of me. When I served our country in Iraq and at sea. When I helped secure our elections after our voting rights came under attack. And now, when I’m stepping up to help lead western PA through the economic fight of our lives.
But it also tells the story of all of you. Western Pennsylvania is the kind of place where you step up to help your neighbors and make sure nobody is left behind. But I see mega corporations and corrupt politicians more than willing to leave our community in the dust. And it pisses me off.
But we’re fighting back, John. I’m ready to take on unchecked corporate power, fight to make more stuff right here at home with union workers, and do the work to bring down costs for working families.
I need your help to spread this message to voters throughout western PA and to fight back against the GOP’s vicious and untruthful attack ads.
