We’ve heard every angle of impeachment. From a Constitutional fight that's been painted as partisan, to Congressional representatives who dusted off the ol’ “alternative facts” mantra, to a flat out denial from the Executive Branch to uphold the Constitution by blocking witness testimony. 

While all this is happening, the Trump administration cut funding for hundreds of thousands of food stamp recipients, and this week marked a year that the Violence Against Women’s Act has been gathering dust in the Senate. 

That’s not all. The climate crisis has arrived, homelessness is on the rise, our healthcare is still broken, our inhumane immigration system is still in full swing and criminal justice reform still feels like it’s miles away. Something has to be done now.

We are all exhausted, but there is hope. Democracy still rests in the hands of voters and we have elections to win in 2020! 

WE can choose who represents us and for the first time in decades, we have choices in primaries across the country because of candidates like those on the BNC slate. 

No seat is guaranteed. This election season we’ll be teaching the political elite a lesson: voters hold the key. We deserve new and true representation made up of those who have worked in their communities, lived through struggle, and are fighting for policies to help us all.
