In-Case-You-Missed-It: Vikram was the clear winner of last night's Republican primary debate on WMUR. He provided clear and concise answers to the questions that were on the minds of many Granite State families. He spent the hour making the case on why he is the candidate that will defeat Maggie Hassan in November.
Vikram used his closing statement to leave the voters with a simple message: we need an outsider in DC to fix the problems our nation is facing.
Vikram said, "Thank you Adam and everyone who tuned in this evening."
"Let me tell you how I see this election. As he’s told you, Kevin has been running for office since he was 19 years old. And Chuck’s been running since I was 19 years old. I haven’t spent the last 30 years running for office. I’ve spent the last 30 years running businesses. I’m the son of immigrants who went from pumping gas at my dad’s station to advising Fortune 500 companies."
"It’s time to stop the career politicians from bankrupting our country and brainwashing our kids."
"Enough is enough. Send me, an outsider with fresh ideas, to Washington to fix this mess. We need to restore the promise of America - the promise of equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. The promise that hard work matters. And the promise of a better future."
"And my last message is for Maggie Hassan. Maggie, you and the career politicians have broken this country. It’s time for a businessman to fix it."
"Thank you very much and I ask for your vote next Tuesday. Don’t send another politician to DC, send a businessman."
