My least favorite part about political campaigns is the amount of money it takes to win.

As you read this, Republicans are flooding the airwaves with ads designed to smear my reputation and mislead voters.

Unfortunately, their ads can be very effective. That means we have to raise the money to set the record straight. Since the Northeast has some of the most expensive media markets in the country, getting the word out about our campaign can have a high price tag!

Republicans just announced TWO MASSIVE ad buys, flooding the state with a combined $30 million cash infusion. With 60 days until Election Day, we’re being outspent and drowned out — and we can’t let this go unanswered.

Will you please rush $3 or more to our campaign right now? 100% of your donation will go toward protecting this seat. And since we only won our last race by 1,017 votes, we need every dollar you can spare.

As I said, I’d prefer not to email asking you for money. My focus is on taking action on climate change, protecting a woman’s reproductive rights, and lowering costs.

But with the Senate split 50-50 and the Cook Political Report calling Senate control a toss-up, we can't afford to lose a single seat.
