As part of our commitment to uplift lower-wage workers in Singapore, the PAP government also looks out for companies, providing support to ensure that they can thrive amid challenging times.
In this week's Money Mondays episode, Senior Minister of State Zaqy Mohamad shared how the PAP government is giving out $3.5 billion to co-fund 75 per cent of wage increase for our lower wage workers.
“This will help employers adopt progressive wages even though these challenging times means we want to reduce impact of cost increases to businesses and prices. That’s the only way they can keep creating more opportunities and better jobs for Singaporeans,” he added.
