In a moment, I’m going to ask you to commit to a weekly gift to my campaign – but first I want to talk about what’s at stake this November, exactly two months from today.

Since Roe was overturned, state after state has enacted bans and restrictions on abortion care. Thanks to Republican attorneys general, as well as governors and state legislatures, over one-third of people in this country live in states that have lost abortion access.

Not in California. Here we’re working to protect and expand reproductive freedom, and to ensure that all who are in need of care are able to access it.

I will never allow that to change – because politicians should never be the ones making these types of personal health care decisions. But my opponent hasn’t committed to the same.

Now, we’re just two months out from Election Day. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and we’re running out of time to make sure we’re reaching every voter in California and ensuring that we elect people who will continue to protect abortion access.

So today I’m asking: will you commit right now to a weekly $5 gift to my campaign from now until Election Day?
