You Know Just How Important an ID is.

Meshell was unable to open a bank account or handle any of the routine business transactions that most of us deal with on a regular basis. Why? Because he did not have an ID. Most of us use our IDs pretty frequently. Every time we visit a child's school or head to the doctor, start a new job or go on a vacation, an ID is a must.

Our sister organization, Spread The Vote + Project ID, helped Meshell to get the ID that he needed but there are millions of Americans that don't have the funds or the documents needed to get their ID.

At Project ID Action Fund, we think every American should have access to a government-issued photo ID. We need your help to advocate at the highest level for more equitable ID laws, so that we can get as many IDs into people's hands as possible.
