It?s raining doggies at the San Diego County Department of Animal Services. In August, a national Clear the Shelters campaign resulted in 142 dogs, 210 cats, and 29 other animals being adopted out from the County shelters, but as those went out, more animals continued coming in. Due to the Border 32 Fire, the County?s Bonita and Carlsbad shelters took in 67 dogs and 10 cats as well as 34 other animals.
