Client Advocate Job Opportunities

The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) has a contractual partnership with three non-profit organizations to provide case management and client advocacy services in six regions and statewide DeafBlind services:

DeafBlind Service Center (DBSC)

Hearing, Speech and Deaf Center (HSDC)

Washington Advocates of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WADHH)

DBSC?Job Opening:

Client Advocate | Seattle

Position Summary Description:

Provide and promote DBSC Statewide Case Management, Outreach, and Advocacy Services with assistance to DeafBlind clients in Washington State statewide.


HSDC Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Job Opening:

Client Advocate| Tacoma Regional Center

Position Summary Description:

This position will be part of a two-person team. It will provide Case Management, peer counseling, communication strategies, coping skills, and advocacy for Deaf and Hard of Hearing, either from birth or late-deafened individuals. This position also includes trainings, presentations, and outreach event coordination to promote our services.

Washington Advocates of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Job Openings:

Client Advocate | Regional Service Centers in Spokane, Tri-Cities and Vancouver

Position Summary Description:

Community Advocate makes an independent case decision involving the preparation of client objectives and goals and will determine their own work methods within Federal, State and Agency guidelines.

These opportunities are great for anyone proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and with experience working with the Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafPlus, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened population, or a degree in either social work or case management.
