Dear John,
The Queen's passing,
infrastructure projects & climate bills, must see news from this
week!
Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's
longest-reigning monarch has died aged 96. As head of state for the
United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, her 70-year reign
spanned more than a dozen U.S. presidents and nine popes. She will be
missed by millions as she leaves behind a truly impressive legacy.
This week the Senate has passed a One
Nation motion establishing an inquiry into Project Iron Boomerang, an
ambitious nation-building proposal to link Queensland’s coal and
Western Australia’s iron ore fields by rail line.
In other news, Senator Pauline Hanson
calls Labor's climate bill a "legislated disaster" as she warns the
Senate that this bill will turn Australia into a 3rd world
country.
"The rich are getting richer, and the
poor are getting poorer, reducing our standard of living and making us
a third-world country. It's all based on the ridiculous idea that
unless Australia does this [move to renewables], the entire world is
doomed. That is completely untrue."
Kind Regards, Peter Brady
