Texas Trigger Laws went into effect two weeks ago. Simply put, this will cost people their lives.

This law bans abortion at fertilization with no exceptions for rape or incest. Any medical professional who performs an abortion could now face life in prison. These laws don't end abortion, they only end safe abortion. Texas has consistently had some of the highest maternal mortality rates in the nation so the consequences of these laws are clear.

Now is the time to elect PRO-CHOICE Democratic women.

Unlike incumbent Chip Roy, I firmly believe that freedom is about protecting and guaranteeing that every person has the right to control their own bodies and make their own decisions.

Did you know that women living in rural parts of the nation are 60% more likely to die before, during, or after childbirth? I am fighting for rural Texas women. We need you now more than ever.
