Team – The GOP’s endorsed gov candidate in Pennsylvania, Doug Mastriano, is SUING the Jan. 6 committee! He’s arguing that the committee cannot compel him to sit for a deposition – even though a letter by the Jan. 6 committee’s chairman indicates that Mastriano was involved in a plan to arrange for an “alternate” slate of presidential electors.

The news that a Trump ally and GOP candidate for governor may have tried to undermine our democracy is just another sign of how unhinged the far-right has become! And with Trump threatening to run again in 2024, we wanted to remind you of the shocking details about his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection:

1. Trump repeatedly pressured GOP state officials to overturn the results of the election – even though he knew there was absolutely no evidence of fraud.
2. Trump allegedly knew that there were armed rioters on Jan. 6, but he urged the Secret Service to remove metal detectors at his rally and even called on these armed insurrectionists to march to the Capitol.
3. Trump grew violent when his team refused to let him go to the Capitol with the rioters – and he even tried to grab the steering wheel away from his driver.
4. Trump chose not to act as rioters breached the Capitol and refused to ask them to disperse.
5. As Trump watched the violence unfold at the Capitol, he tweeted disparaging remarks about Pence, causing the Vice President’s Secret Service to fear for their lives during the attack.
6. In a series of outtakes from a taped address he delivered the day after the Jan. 6 attack, Trump refused to say the election was over.

With the DOJ launching MULTIPLE probes into Trump and his cronies and the FBI searching Trump’s Florida estate as a part of an investigation into missing classified documents, it’s clear that we’re closer than ever to holding Trump and his cronies accountable for their actions!
