BREAKING: The Michigan Supreme Court has ruled that the Fairness Project-backed reproductive freedom measure WILL BE on the ballot in Michigan this November.

POWER OUR 2022 CAMPAIGNS TO VICTORY [[link removed]]

It hasn’t been easy to get here, team.

FIRST → With an extremist-packed U.S. Supreme Court, we knew it was possible that Roe v. Wade would fall this year. Our team identified Michigan as a key state for abortion access and partnered with organizers and activists on the ground to launch “Reproductive Freedom for All,” a first-of-its-kind ballot measure campaign that, if successful, would protect abortion access in Michigan for good and lay the groundwork for other states to do the same.

THEN → Word of this campaign spread to every corner of the state, and Michigan made history once again as over 750,000 signatures were collected from Michigan voters — almost double the amount needed to qualify — who turned out to sign petitions to get our reproductive freedom measure on the ballot. The people's will was clear: an overwhelming number of voters wanted to see this measure on the ballot.

NEXT → Anti-choice extremists launched a bad-faith attempt to derail the signature certification process. The Board of State Canvassers voted 2-2 on whether or not to certify the measure, deliberately failing to deliver the 3 needed “yes” votes. But Michiganders would not be stopped from codifying their reproductive rights protections, SO…

NOW → The Michigan Supreme Court has recognized the will of the people and certified the measure for a November vote! Direct democracy has prevailed and the power of ordinary voters won — but this will NOT be the last time that extremist obstructionists attempt to derail the process.

We’re fighting back against anti-abortion extremists and doing everything in our power to make sure this campaign wins. Will you contribute now to supercharge our efforts and power our 2022 campaigns to victory? [[link removed]]

CONTRIBUTE [[link removed]]Today is a good day. But these attacks will only intensify as we get closer to Election Day. With exactly two months to go, we need every pro-choice advocate in our corner if we’re going to be successful in protecting reproductive freedom in Michigan. Will you contribute and be a part of this last line of defense, team, for abortion rights in Michigan and across the country? [[link removed]]
