I want to make sure you have the facts on my far-right opponent, Kari Lake when it comes to the right to a safe, legal abortion.
- Kari Lake has voiced support for Arizona’s Civil War-era abortion law — which criminalizes abortion in our state — calling it “great.”
- She has said that abortion pills should not be legal.
- She has promised that as governor, she would sign extreme anti-abortion legislation into law “in a heartbeat.”
That is where Kari Lake stands. Now, I want to be very clear about where I stand on this issue:
I am unwavering in my support of reproductive freedom. As Arizona’s next governor, I will use my veto pen to block any legislation that further compromises the right to choose. And I will do everything in my power to secure women’s rights for the next generation.
This is the choice we face in November — electing a governor who will protect our freedoms or one who will dismantle them. If you believe we need a governor who will defend the fundamental right to choose, I hope you’ll pitch in today to support my campaign:
