Michels’ company has a record of causing serious damage to the environment and putting its people in danger. His company’s failure dealing with a gas line caused a massive explosion that injured nine firefighters, leveled two buildings, and caused millions of dollars in damage. At another site, a train loaded with 21 oil tankers derailed and spilled 42,000 gallons of oil, narrowly avoiding another massive explosion.

Michels likes to tout his “blue collar” credentials, but the facts show he cares little about his workers, the places they live and work, and their health and safety. Gov. Tony Evers is different. His policies are continuing to grow good paying jobs, protect our health, drinking water, and safety, and set the groundwork for our clean energy future.
