John, we’ve been seeing abortion laws going into effect in states across the country.
Some of them are so extreme, it would shock you. Think you know just how bad it is for folks in states with anti-choice leaders?
The media has moved on and because of that, many leaders in Washington have as well, focusing on other issues.
But not our DAs working on the ground directly to protect women and abortion providers from prosecution and unjust laws that you’ll learn about in the quiz. Here’s the thing: they are the first line of defense when it comes to protecting folks from being prosecuted for abortion-related crimes.
For folks in states with these trigger laws in effect, getting pregnant with complications could be a choice between prison time or death. It’s a direct attack on our rights — and we need more DAs who are ready to fight tooth and nail to protect our decisions made about our own bodies.
