A judge ruled that Facebook intentionally committed numerous violations of Washington’s campaign finance law. They broke a law that requires campaign advertisers, such as newspapers, TV stations, and Facebook, to maintain records of their political ads and make them available to Washingtonians like you. In addition, the judge denied their request to strike down a key provision of our decades-old campaign finance law that requires transparency in our elections.

Tech giants, like Facebook, must follow the law just like everybody else.
