Dear Friend,
You know that the fall of Roe earlier this year means that abortion is no longer a federally-protected right in the United States. Your elected officials and fellow voters need to know just how crucial you consider it to be for women and people throughout the U.S. to have legal access to comprehensive reproductive health care services, including family planning options and abortion.
One of the best and most effective ways for you to raise awareness about this is through Letters to the Editor. LTEs allow YOU to take advantage of local media to broadcast the importance of access to abortion care to your elected officials and the voting public.
We’re hosting two interactive trainings on writing a clear and persuasive LTE. The first is on Tuesday, September 13th, at 8pm ET/5pm PT, [[link removed]] and the second is on Wednesday, September 14th, at 3pm ET/12pm PT [[link removed]] . We’ll equip you with the know-how you’ll need to write an effective LTE that has the best chance of getting published!
You know just how consequential the mid-term elections will be for the future of abortion access in the United States. Getting LTEs into your local papers is a hard-hitting way to help spread the word and encourage others to elect pro-choice candidates who will stand up for reproductive health and rights here in the U.S. and abroad. Join us!
