Four years ago this week, our movement for bold, progressive change shattered a concrete ceiling and defied the odds.
On September 4, 2018, Ayanna defeated a long-time incumbent, becoming the first Black woman to represent Massachusetts in Congress.
Over the past four years, Ayanna has carried forward the bold, activist leadership that was a cornerstone of our barrier-breaking 2018 campaign, advocating and legislating for greater equity, justice, and opportunity for all of our communities.
In 2018, we said “Change Can’t Wait,” and there’s still so much that needs changing. That’s why it’s so important that we send Ayanna back to Congress for another two years, to keep up the fight to advance progressive priorities that center those closest to the pain.
