We cannot allow climate change deniers to win power in the Senate.

Friend — this is amazing: just a few weeks ago, Representative Val Demings won her primary — setting up a showdown to run for Senate against Marco Rubio in November.

The first reliable polling is coming in since the primary — and it’s incredibly close. We’re looking at a real shot at unseating Marco Rubio and replacing him with a strong environmental champion.

Val Demings is awesome. Last year she had a perfect 100% score in LCV’s Environmental Scorecard. We have to help her pull this off.

Last month, a group of donors agreed to triple-match every contribution to LCV Victory Fund to run campaigns to elect environmental leaders. Given the news out of Florida, we just received permission to extend that deadline.

You can still triple your impact on winning tight races in states like Florida, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

Even $5 is enough to make a difference right now, Friend. We’re asking everyone in the environmental movement to pitch in what they can right now. These are all Senate races where true environmental leaders are going up against people Trump has personally endorsed.

Each and every one of these environmental leaders could hinge on our movement to win We’re hoping to go big.

That means running aggressive outreach campaigns with a goal of reaching more than 2 million Climate Voters who we’ve identified as being less likely to vote in November. Research indicates these voters will be much more likely to show up if they hear from us directly on candidates’ work to address the climate crisis.

We truly need your help to scale up — these efforts could make the difference in Senate races like the ones in...

Georgia — where corporate CEOs — including an oil industry executive — have started a dark money fund to help elect Republican Herschel Walker, a climate change denier who has been endorsed by Donald Trump. The latest Fox News poll gives Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) just a 4-point lead here.

Nevada — where Republican Adam Laxalt has clear ties to big oil and is backed by millions of dollars in outside spending. They are hoping to unseat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), who has fought for clean energy and conservation of Nevada's public lands. The most recent Emerson College poll gives Sen. Cortez Masto a 3-point lead.

Wisconsin — where Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct campaign contributions from the fossil fuel industry. Sen. Johnson consistently opposed clean air and water protections, he voted to block the Clean Power Plan, and he has consistently voted to protect polluters' interests. FiveThirtyEight’s polling average gives Sen. Johnson a 3-point lead.

Bottom line — we’re hoping to get organizers on the ground in some of the closest states. We are running large-scale field operations to reach voters — especially those with the highest likelihood of being disenfranchised or not voting in the midterms.

So we’re asking: Please, triple your impact, Friend. Even $5 can help >>

We can do this. Let’s get to work.
