The extreme-right finally got what it wanted with the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. I wanted you to hear from me directly about what this means for New Jersey, our country, and where we need to go from here.

It’s hard to believe in the year 2022 I have to vote to protect reproductive care and contraception, but that’s exactly what I’m doing in Congress.

Here’s the good news: We have momentum and the majority on our side.

The majority of Americans support the right to choose and we saw evidence of that last month in Kansas where voters decisively cast ballots to keep abortion legal.

We need leaders in Congress we can trust to listen to the will of voters and protect a woman’s right to choose.

I’m on the ballot against an opponent who supports allowing government to ban abortion even in cases of rape, incest, and when a woman’s life is in danger. He will stand with Washington Republicans who have pledged to pass a nationwide abortion ban.

My opponent is out of step with New Jerseyans, the majority of whom support the right to choose.

I’m a Navy veteran. I’ve taken multiple oaths to defend our Constitution and our freedoms. That’s what I’m doing in Congress. I’m going to keep working to restore Roe and reproductive rights, but I need your help. Your contributions help us prepare for Election Day so I can return to the House.
