Friend, The past few years have been a time of great change and challenge in our nation – and the SPLC has been working to seize the opportunities for progress presented by this remarkable period of history. At this virtual event on Oct. 21 – which we’ve been calling “50 Forward” – you’ll learn about the course we are charting into the future: a course guided by clearly defined values and a renewed dedication to collaborating with partners from across communities in the Deep South. Founded in 1971, the SPLC has served for 50 years as a catalyst for racial justice in the South and beyond – but our work is far from finished. Please join us on Oct. 21 for an evening of exciting and inspiring guests and speakers. Together, we will reflect on the accomplishments of the past and preview the next 50 years of progress in the march for justice. If you are able to join us for our virtual event on Oct. 21, please RSVP by Sept. 19. As always, thank you for your support. Without the goodwill of our thousands of supporters, the SPLC’s work for justice and equality would be impossible. In solidarity, Your friends at the Southern Poverty Law Center
