Want to help shape CND's campaigning?

CND's AGM and policy conference ([link removed]) will take place online on Saturday 8 October this year. The meeting is an integral part of our democratic structure: CND is a member-led organisation and every year we get together to decide how the campaign will work over the months ahead. This is where members vote on policies, elect the leadership, and decide our campaigning priorities. With the threat of nuclear war at its highest in decades, it's never been more important for CND members and groups to shape the work of the campaign!

The deadline for registering for conference is 28 September. Existing members can register here ([link removed]) .

If you support CND but are not yet a paid-up member, there is still time to join ([link removed]) before the 28 September deadline. You can then register to attend the AGM and conference.

The second day ([link removed]) of conference 2022 will take place on Sunday 16 October. It will involve a day with workshops hosted by Yorkshire CND and a visit to Menwith Hill satellite and communications base, run by the USAF. You can register here via eventbrite ([link removed]) .

XR Rebellion: Climate not Trident

Extinction Rebellion's next set of actions starts this weekend with a three-day Festival of Resistance in Hyde Park in London. CND is calling on members to support the action for the future of our planet and say Climate not Trident!

Saturday 10th at 10am meeting place: Marble Arch
Saturday 10th–Tuesday 13th: Festival of Resistance in Hyde Park
Morning of Tuesday 13th: The start of a bus tour round the country!
