Democrat Mary Peltola has defeated Sarah Palin in Alaska’s special congressional election!
Friends,
Last week we learned that Democrat Mary Peltola defeated Sarah Palin in Alaska’s special congressional election, becoming the first Alaska Native ever elected to Congress. I'm still feeling more energized than ever after this victory!
If Democrats can flip a seat in deep red Alaska, I know we can flip this seat here in Minnesota.
I know you may be thinking that an election in Alaska wouldn’t mean too much for us in Minnesota, but according to CNN, “Sarah Palin's loss could be a sign of midterm troubles for Republicans.”
In every election since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Democrats have made historic surges in performance – proving what we already knew to be true: The GOP’s out-of-touch agenda is extremely unpopular, even for moderate and conservative voters.
That’s why it’s our duty in this race to make sure voters know that our Republican opponent Pete Stauber marches in lockstep with Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, and all of the other extreme Republicans that are destroying our democracy.
P.S. I encourage you to learn more about Democrat Mary Peltola – who will become the first Alaska Native to serve in Congress. She is an inspiration to us all. Check out her website here.
