Dear John,
As we near the end of the year, I wanted to personally reach out to thank you for your continued support of the California Policy Center.
Looking around our state, I’ll admit that it’s hard not to grow cynical! Everywhere I look I see greedy, self-serving politicians working against the best interests of the citizens they claim to serve.
But here at California Policy Center, our staff is filled with an abundance of hope this holiday season. A hope that comes from the fruits we are seeing in our work to bring back individual freedom and liberty to our state. And it’s a hope that comes with creating a more prosperous California for all.
California Policy Center efforts are guided by two main goals—to restore honesty and integrity to our government—to make state and local government serve ordinary Californians once more—by breaking the unholy alliance between corrupt politicians and powerful government unions; and to revitalize freedom and opportunity by empowering parents (not government bureaucrats) to choose how their children are educated.
And thanks to supporters like you, we are doing just that.
I’m excited to announce that we continue to grow our efforts all throughout the state, and 2020 looks to be our biggest year yet.
Over the next few weeks, you’re going to hear stories about the hard-working Californians that we seek to help on a daily basis, as well as hear about the generous, and even courageous, individuals that support our work.
As you hear the stories of those CPC is helping free from the grips of government unions, I’d urge you to consider giving to our end of year campaign. This year we reached new heights, but I’m confident we can enter 2020 on an even stronger note.
We are ready to charge into 2020. But we can’t do it without your partnership. Before the end of the year, our goal is to free 200 workers from the clutches of their union. Your gift of $52, $156, or whatever you can afford will help make this goal a reality.
Why $156? Because each $52 you can give frees one union member from the grip of their union leaders—and causes the unions to lose $800 they’d otherwise spend lobbying for more of your money.
Will you help us reach our end of year goal of $10,400 to free 200 union members by the end of the year?
Take the plunge with us, and let’s commit to fighting for the sanity and prosperity of our state.
Thanks to our generous partners, we’ve already raised about $5,000 online since November. And we need to double that number by New Year’s Day.
That’s why you’ll be hearing from us over these last few days of 2019 about some impactful stories and the vision we have for the future of our state.
Stay tuned, and please consider an end of year contribution to the California Policy Center. Thank you for your support!
