Let me put this as plainly as possible: Ken Buck is worried.
He is worried that constituents might notice his vote against bringing millions of dollars of federal infrastructure investment to this district.
He is worried that working people feeling the pain when they fill up at the pump might learn that he voted against a commonsense bill to regulate the price gouging of Big Oil and bring much-needed relief.
He is worried that his extreme anti-choice, anti-abortion stance might anger women voters in the fall, and cost him his cushy gig filling a seat in Congress.
He is worried that a Marine combat veteran might build a coalition of Independents and Republicans disgusted with the anti-democratic tilt of his party and ready to fight back.
Ken Buck should be worried.
Yesterday, I stood on a debate stage with Rep. Buck and make the case that the people of Colorado literally cannot afford him in office one more day, much less two more years. They are fed up—and I pledge to bring the fight to Buck as their representative.
