Before working in the Trump administration and running for Congress in PA-08, Matt's Republican opponent, Jim Bognet, served as the senior vice president for one of Saudi Arabia's most powerful lobbying firms in D.C.

After the FBI found links between the Saudi government and the 9/11 attacks, the lobbying firm Bognet worked for lobbied Congress to win immunity from lawsuits brought by victims of the terrorist attack.

His firm was paid $1.3 million to sell out American victims of 9/11 for a foreign government – and Bogent refused to deny that he himself was a part of this effort. This is shocking and appalling, John.
