Bad News first, John: Mitch McConnell’s Super PAC just launched a $27 MILLION ad buy in North Carolina. The first one is a gross, misleading character attack on Cheri, and we can be certain it will only get worse from here — even more misleading or just plain false attacks.
Now, the good news: Ted Budd might have Mitch’s millions, but we have something better: you. Every single time we’ve asked, this grassroots movement has stepped up. That’s a testament to the strength of the campaign we’re building together, and it’s something that we’re very proud of — and you should be too.
And here’s the truth: The ONLY way we’re going to have the resources to compete with this flood of super PAC spending in North Carolina and correct the record is with your support. So we need to ask:
Winning this race and taking on the special interests that want to keep the system rigged against working people was never going to be easy.
But Cheri’s won tough statewide races before, and we know that with your support, we’ll be able to fight back against these attacks, flip North Carolina blue, and bring real change to the Senate.
