And, before you say it – yes, we know that this is a fundraising gimmick. But, there are three things you should know:

1. With less than nine weeks until Election Day, and six weeks until early voting begins, we’re running out of time to reach voters before they begin casting their ballots.

2. Our multi-millionaire opponent loaned his campaign $250,000 of his own fortune. Meanwhile, Jasmine doesn’t accept a dime from corporate PACs.

3. We have to publicly report our fundraising numbers at the end of the month. Right now, we’re not on track to hit our September goal.

So as gimmicky as asking for $9 sounds, our rationale couldn’t be more serious. Every donation you make to this campaign gives us the resources to meet new voters, train volunteers, and fund our staff.
