We are officially only two months out from the last day to vote in this year’s election, Tuesday, November 8.

Our votes are our voices. We all have the ability to build the future we want for our generation and beyond — we’ve just got to be ready to show up to the polls.

Here’s just some of what’s at stake this election season, and why we need you in this fight.

• Abortion rights: Republicans have made it obvious: If they take control of Congress, they’re going to push for a national ban on abortion. We’ve already seen the devastating impact of the Supreme Court’s decision to put abortion rights into the hands of the states — Americans across the country have been thrown into a health care, economic, and constitutional crisis. We’ve got to ensure that progressives hold control of Congress.
• Affordable health care: These past two years have shown us the necessity of affordable and accessible health care. But, instead of supporting an expansion of accessible health care, Republicans have continuously attacked the Affordable Care Act and will heighten these attacks if they’re given control of Congress. To ensure our health care is kept as a priority, we’ve got to fight to keep progressives in office.

We’ve made a lot of progress since 2020. Millions of Americans have had their federal student loan debt canceled, the largest climate investment in history has been passed, and costs across the board have been lowered for working families.

But let’s be clear: We can only continue this progress if progressives hold and expand their power in Congress.

That’s where you come in.
