Hi John,

Next year marks Breast Cancer Action’s 30th anniversary. In the beginning, we were only a handful of women, living with and dying from breast cancer, who demanded answers and information about this disease. And thanks to our members and supporters, we have grown into an independent, rapid response watchdog working for lasting system change.

Our values infuse every level of our work, including where we get our money. Breast Cancer Action is one of the smallest and most efficient organizations in our field—we accomplish so much thanks to the support of our grassroots membership. To this day, we get 70% of our support from individuals, so we’re not beholden to corporate agendas. This means you can always trust that we’ll put your health before corporate profit.
With your support, we’ll continue to
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based, one-of-a-kind analysis and information through our Information & Resources service
  • Address the devastating truths about breast cancer that are covered up by the mainstream's narrow focus on awareness with our award-wining Think Before You Pink® campaigns
  • Advocate for new safe and effective treatments for breast cancer while also working to stop breast cancer before it starts
Whether we’re at major international conferences or marching in the street, we bring our crucial analysis and information to tens of thousands of people each year. And now that we’ve launched the Breast Cancer Action podcast, there’s a new way to listen when you're on the go.

Your support is critical. Thank you for giving as generously as you can.

Because of your generosity, we work tirelessly to support women living with the disease, honor those who have died, and protect the health of future generations. We’ve done so for the past 30 years and we will continue for as long as it takes—until lives and communities are no longer threatened by breast cancer.

In solidarity and with heartfelt gratitude,

Board of Directors
Breast Cancer Action

P.S. Donate now and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a This Is What the Cancer Resistance Looks Like t-shirt. We'll announce the winner on December 26.
