Alarming news broke last week that my opponent, Jason Brodeur, was in on a plan to recruit a “ghost candidate” during his race for the State Senate in 2020. This plan to prop up a candidate who qualified illegally and had no intention to serve was fueled by hundreds of thousands of dollars of dark money.

According to disgraced former Seminole County Tax Collector, Joel Greenberg, Jason Brodeur ”absolutely knew” about a plan that was hatched to undermine our democracy and siphon votes away from his Democratic opponent. 

This is truly alarming, friend. My opponent supports illegal, anti-democratic tactics that threaten the sanctity of our elections. 

We have to fight back. We have to call for a thorough investigation and for my opponent to suspend his campaign, as well as resign from the Florida Senate. We have to send a message that real people, not illegal backdoor deals, get to decide our elections.
