I had to make a tough call, John.

Our opponent Jen Kiggans and her right-wing allies have spent more than $4 million trying to defeat Elaine – and $1.2 million of that just on attack ads.

You know Elaine: she would never take these slanderous attacks lying down. She asked me if we have enough flexibility in our budget to respond.

You know Elaine – she won’t take these slanderous attacks lying down, so she asked me if we had enough flexibility in our budget to respond.

I certainly can’t move resources away from our campaign operations this late in the game, so I made the tough call to increase our September fundraising goal by $50,000.

It’s a risky decision – but this race will determine the fate of our Democratic House Majority, so there’s no choice but to go all in.

Can I count on you to chip in $25 or more to make sure we stay on track for our FEC fundraising goal this month AND defend Elaine from these right-wing taunts?

I’m betting on you, John, because you’ve come through for Elaine before, and I know you won’t back down from this challenge now.

Let’s show Jen Kiggans and the GOP that this time, they messed with the wrong team.
