You know what makes me furious? When leftwing activists claim Jesus Christ would support socialism, student loan bailouts, or a big government. 

And to make things worse? 

Most of the time, these leftwingers don’t believe in Jesus. They’re simply weaponizing Christianity to justify their political beliefs. 

Here’s the thing: I don’t care if the attack comes from the left or the right. If somebody uses the name of God to justify aggression, I’m going to stand against it. What are you going to do?

My name is Dr. Norman Horn, I founded the Libertarian Christian Institute (LCI) with the mission to make the Christian case for free markets and free people.

Christians are an integral part of defending liberty, preserving morality in our culture, and opposing the evils of empires. 

In the words of Benjamin Franklin, “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God.” More importantly, we should heed the words of Acts 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

You and I are responsible for making the Christian case for liberty to our fellow believers, non-believers, and countrymen. The Libertarian Christian Institute (LCI) is leading this cause and equipping Christians the knowledge, resources, and courage to execute on this mission.

The Libertarian Christian Institute believes liberty is the most consistent expression of Christian political thought. 

This is what we believe and are fighting for: 

• Christians must root their beliefs in Scripture.
   
• A free society must abide by a Non-Aggression principle - The Bible gives us clear instructions to reject violence and force to change hearts and minds. This applies to the government as well. 
   
• Individual liberty is critical to achieving peace and prosperity. 
   
• Healthy social institutions matter for human flourishing - Meaning we must not surrender our schools, churches, or even businesses to Woke social justice activists and the enemies of liberty. 
   
• Christian theology affirms the ideas of free market capitalism: Jesus instructs us to respect each other’s property, to never STEAL from our neighbor, and to be productive citizens. 

God has given us everything we need to make the Christian case for a free society. 

However, I fear our country will continue falling into the grasp of socialism if you and I fail to advocate for our ideas and the values laid out for us in Scripture.

Here is everything the Libertarian Christian Institute is doing to have an impact: 
 

• The Libertarian Christian Institute Podcast: We produce a weekly podcast reaching THOUSANDS of people across the country. We discuss current events and tackle the Christian perspective on things such as School Choice, student loans, Sound Money, and the pro-life movement. 
   
• Our book, “Faith Seeking Freedom: Libertarian Christian Answers To Tough Questions”: We’ve published a book to make the Christian case on all the difficult debates of the modern day… Why abortion is evil, why taxation is theft, and why believers must reject socialism. 
   
• Online Content & Events: Our belief is that we must reach NEW audiences and folks who may not agree with us on everything. We desire to change hearts and minds… not preach to the choir. LCI publishes online content constantly and presents at conferences in order to reach people with our message. 

Here’s the big problem with all of this…
