John, do you get worried when you see headlines like this?

Reno Gazette Journal:
"An election denier is leading race to be Nevada's top elections officer"

Well, we have good news: According to Axios,

"Democrats are intensifying their focus on secretary of state contests – and arguments that they are the guardians against 2024 presidential election results being overturned."

That's right – in many states, the secretary of state is the top official responsible for administering a free and fair election. And the fact is, fringe election deniers in the GOP CAN'T be trusted to do that – especially when they've been endorsed by Donald Trump, like the Republican nominee in Ohio.

That's why the NDRC is supporting THREE Democracy Defenders running for secretary of state in CRITICAL swing states: Nevada, Georgia, and Ohio.

But that's not all. In Pennsylvania, the governor appoints the secretary of state – and MAGA Republican and gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano (who reportedly crossed police lines on January 6th!) has picked someone who could "disrupt" Pennsylvania's elections. That's one of the many reasons the NDRC is supporting Mastriano's pro-democracy opponent, Josh Shapiro.

But we'll be honest – we need as much help as we can get to support all 15 of the Democracy Defenders we've endorsed, in addition to carrying out the rest of our 2022 strategy.
