Hey John, it’s Adam Schiff.

I’m writing to you today to make the case for my friend Maggie Hassan, who is running for reelection in one of the top battleground Senate races of 2022. But before I go any further, can you chip in $3 right now to Maggie’s campaign? With our Democratic Senate majority hanging on by a thread and a field of radical, right-wing opponents vying to replace her, Maggie is going to need all of us to help her win in November.

And Maggie needs to win.

I have seen firsthand the extreme agenda that Republicans like Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell will push if they see even the slightest opening. And we know the damage they’ll do to our democracy if they win. That’s why we must continue to fight to make sure that we protect our majorities, deny them power, and defeat their enablers at every turn.

But we can't do that if we take our foot off the gas in New Hampshire. If Maggie Hassan loses in November, she will be replaced by a “yes-man” for Mitch McConnell and all but guarantee he is reinstated as Senate Majority Leader.

McConnell also knows that his path back to power runs through New Hampshire, that’s why he’s laser-focused on flipping this seat, targeting Maggie with over $53 million in attack ads. But Maggie is fighting back because she knows that New Hampshire deserves better than a rubber stamp for the GOP’s extremist agenda – and we’ve got to help her win. We’ve just got to.

That’s why I’m asking you to contribute to Maggie’s campaign today.

I’ve known Maggie for a long time, and she is a dedicated public servant who will never stop fighting for progress on the issues that matter most to Granite Staters. The folks in New Hampshire truly could not ask for a more dedicated and deserving champion in the Senate.

This race is going to be a tight one – New Hampshire is a notoriously swingy state and with millions in outside, unaccountable money flooding the airwaves, things are only getting closer.
