First Migrant Bus in Chicago
Per The Daily Wire:
Gov. Greg Abbott has sent the first buses of migrants from Texas to the
liberal sanctuary city of Chicago as part of his initiative to alleviate
the impact of the migration crisis on southern border communities. Gov.
Abbott: "President Biden's inaction at our southern border continues
putting the lives of Texans - and Americans - at risk and is
overwhelming our communities."
Low Approval Ahead of Midterms
Per Reuters:
President Biden's approval rating fell this week to 38% in a new
Reuters/Ipsos poll, a troubling sign for the Democratic Party as the
midterm elections quickly approach. President Biden's overall approval
rating has now been below 50% for an entire year, as Americans have
struggled with high inflation, an energy crisis, and situations abroad.
Yes, KJP Really Said That
Per New York Post:
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed last week that
migrants are not just "walking across the border," but near-daily
news reports have shown the complete opposite is true. In fact,
thousands of migrants are crossing the southern border every day, and
the White House has yet to put in place any effective strategy to
address the crisis.
