The results are in: Maura’s running against Trump’s hand-picked candidate, Geoff Diehl.

We know that Geoff Diehl is too extreme, but it’s more than that. At a get-out-the-vote rally for Diehl on Monday, Trump said that Diehl would “rule” Massachusetts with an “iron fist.”

Voters need to know about the threat that Diehl poses.

To put it plainly: Geoff Diehl does not represent Massachusetts values. He peddles an ultra right-wing agenda that panders to Donald Trump. He has declared proudly that the 2020 election was rigged and stolen from Trump, and has continued to defend him in the fallout of the January 6 insurrection.

Rather than work for our state, Diehl has:

- Been trying to ban abortion in Massachusetts for years.
- Supported legislation that would punish abortion providers with jail time.
- Backed a plan that would cut Social Security and Medicare.

And that’s just the beginning of Diehl’s extreme laundry list. Meanwhile, Maura stands apart from him on just about everything. She has:

- Become a national leader in protecting access to reproductive freedom.
- Taken on Big Pharma, predatory lenders, polluters like Exxon, and utility companies to bring down bills for families.
- Been a fierce defender and advocate for increasing the minimum wage, paid leave, and basic workplace protections.

To us, it’s clear that Maura’s the best choice for Governor — but victory is never guaranteed.

We’re ramping up our voter outreach plans fast: training more volunteers, ordering more yard signs, and printing flyers to share with voters.
