2019 DSA CONVENTION – ONE WEEK AWAY (access to info)
>>Paying for our socialism – the national DSA Budget and Finance Committee is organizing a Preconvention Webinar Budget Presentation on Sunday, 7/28th 8pm ET/7pm CT/6pm MT/5pm PT. The call will be one hour long and will include a mid-year budget analysis. This call will be limited to DSA members who joined as of 7/11/2019.
To verify memberships are up-to-date with their dues, we ask that you RSVP for access to the call. Every member who RSVPs will receive a recording of the call.

It is easy to forget that Chelsea Manning has been jailed since May 17 for refusing to testify in a grand jury investigation against Julian Assange. MDC DSA Publications Schedule The August issue of the Washington Socialist appears Friday, August 2 with an article deadline of this Sunday, July 28. Friday Updates will appear on August 9, 16 and 23 and the Labor Day issue of the Washington Socialist will appear Friday, August 30 with a deadline of Sunday, August 25.
Our activism gains support when it is explained in a socialist context and voice, so submit your contribution to our ongoing narrative here. Opinion pieces, campaign updates, coverage of rallies, socialist illustrations or photo essays – all are welcome and valued. Check our submission guidelines, and mind the deadlines.
