Our Catholic Action Insight™ Interview Series presents a rousing interview with Charles Limandri, Founder of the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, which defends people who are caught up in the many abuses of religious freedom and family values by the cultural warriors on the left. Mr. Limandri is also the President of the Thomas More Society in the San Diego area and has experience in every aspect of religious freedom litigation. 

Since the George Floyd incident two years ago, there have been over 150 attacks on Catholic Churches and pro-life pregnancy centers in this country. The attacks have become even more violent since the Dobbs decision overturning was officially released on June 24th. 

Is this a flash in the pan or a trend that Catholics and pro-lifers should be worried about? Where does the Pro-Life movement go from here? Charles Limandri answers these questions and more in his two “Catholic Action Insights” interviews with Thomas McKenna. 

In this first video, Mr. Limandri addresses a number of key issues following the Dobbs decision. 

• Why Roe v. Wade was such a terrible decision and why the Supreme Court rightly overturned it;
• The legal terms and concepts of the 1973 ruling in which the SCOTUS was exercising raw judicial power, not the vision of our Founders; 
• How the Dobbs decision was based on traditional legal reasoning going back even to the Middle Ages and exercised its authority to “set right” a decision that was so damaging to our nation; 
• How to respond to the screams that overturning Roe is “denying rights” to women and why this rhetoric is empty propaganda on the part of the radical left;
• The reality of some of the new challenges the Pro-Life movement faces in the post-Roe era such as the issues related to the chemical killing of babies and upcoming court challenges about Personhood as a foundation for law.
