When Democracy Now! covers the climate crisis, we're not brought to you by the companies that are causing it. We're funded by you, our audience of listeners, viewers and readers.
We just returned from the U.N. climate summit in Madrid, Spain, where we spoke to grassroots activists and youth and indigenous leaders who were in the streets, fighting to save the planet.
Democracy Now! is the only U.S.-based daily television and radio news program to dedicate a full week to these important global talks on the climate emergency.
At the summit, we aired the voice of Rose Whipple, a member of the Santee Dakota and Ho-Chunk, and youth delegate with SustainUS, who joined a panel of youth climate activists.
