Dear Friend,
I'm Chessa, a part of Project HOPE's Ukraine emergency response team. I recently visited the countries bordering Ukraine accepting millions of refugees, where I met women, children and the elderly who fled the violence with only a bag or two on their backs. It echoed the war in Kosovo in the 1990s, where every single one of my family members lost their homes and had to flee the country with what little they could carry.
In these times of tragedy, there's nothing that feels more relevant, important or purposeful than doing this work. I know you feel the same . Will you please make an emergency gift to help us continue our lifesaving work in Ukraine and around the world?
As months go by for Ukrainian families, we cannot allow their stories to fade into the background. Even if this conflict ended tomorrow, its damage will last for generations.
